Standard Cottage
Simple, warm and close to the forest edge.
Our original stone cottages: a comfortable double or twin, an en-suite with a proper hot shower, and a veranda that looks straight into the tree line.
Deluxe Cottage
More room, a private fireplace, and the best view on the ridge.
Larger cottages set at the far end of the garden, with a king bed, a sitting area, a private fireplace and a wide veranda facing the Bwindi canopy.
Family Cottage
Two bedrooms, one fire, and space for everyone's muddy boots.
Two connected bedrooms sharing a lounge with its own fireplace — built for families and for two couples travelling together.
Every rate includes breakfast, a packed lunch for trekking days, a three-course dinner, and tea or coffee whenever you want it.
Solar with a generator backup, hot showers morning and evening, and charging points in every cottage. Wi-Fi reaches the lounge and restaurant.
Ruhija is high and cold once the sun drops. Your fire is lit and hot water bottles are in the bed before you get back from the forest.
